In May, I managed to read 36 books, with a vast majority by Australian authors, and have almost finished my reading challenges – with a few categories left to tick off and this will be fairly easy. Many books were for younger readers, but many were also very compelling books that were ones that I simply had to find out what happened next. Some books are not yet out, but in getting them read and reviewed now, I have made it easier to get through the books that are yet to come, and that will inevitably arrive soon.

I had lots that came from favourites as well and I found it really hard to choose a favourite, but one that definitely kept me going was Digging up Dirt by Pamela Hart, and another was The Right Way to Rock by Nat Amoore – both celebrations of things like history and the arts that I absolutely love. I seem to have read across broad genres this month, with only a few authors coming from overseas. Onto next month and more reading!
