Australian Authors Read

And I did it – I achieved my goal of reading as many Australian authors as possible. I always prefer reading and reviewing Australian authors as I feel that I hear more about authors from America or the UK – and whilst I do have some authors from other countries I like, I want to showcase the breadth of Australian literature as there are so many good authors out there, and many of them may not receive the attention they deserve. With so many to focus on, of course not everyone is going to be a big name. Yet I do feel that there are some that should be highlighted more than they are, and that is what my blog aims to do. Overall, I read 179 books by Australian authors – which is a very big chunk of my reading log for 2023. I am looking forward to seeing what 2024 will bring.
