Book Grocer Book Bingo Completed

Green book grocer bingo card with 12 squares in white text. Twelve squares are marked off in different coloured Xs.

In 2025, one of the book bingo challenges came from a bookshop I follow online called The Book Grocer. I moved a few things around, and made some changes to use some books that I felt were better suited to the prompts. This was one of my reading challenges for the year, and I am on target to complete all, or most of them wholly. I loved the choices I made for this challenge, and did my best to read as diversely as possible and include a diverse range of books. Some categories were very broad, and I had several options, so ended up with the first one I finished for each prompt in many cases.

I will be interested to see if there is a book bingo like this next year, and what the prompts will be.

  1. A book set in Australia: The Spirit Circle by Tara Calaby
  2. A book by a debut author: Earth Speak: Boodjar Wangkiny by Sean McCann and Jade Goodwin

  4. A graphic novel: Chickenpox by Remy Lai
  5. A mystery novel: Willow Bright’s Secret Plot by A.L. Tait

  7. A book featuring animals: Caution! This Book Contains Deadly Reptiles by Corey Tutt, art by Ben Williams
  8. A book turned into a movie: Miss Austen by Gill Hornby
