January 2023 Wrap Up Post

2023 got off to a good start – I found a few reading challenges that won’t be too stressful, and I am almost finished the Dymocks Summer Reading Challenge, and am half way through the Book Bestie’s Bingo. The QBD challenge will take a little longer – partially due to finding some books and partially due to getting to the ones I want to read for the prompts. I may add or change books for some prompts, as any double ups are placeholders for now as something else may come along. I am hoping to do a post about each month as I go through the year. My current stats are below for January – I won’t be able to update the Dymocks stats until I have the prompts for each season, but I only have two more prompts for Summer to fill in and one book I am part of the way through, so I will be able to update that challenge either next month or in December, when I complete it.

Another thing I am aiming to do this year is to read mostly Australian authors. So far, I have managed to do this, and I am aiming to stick to authors that might not get as much attention as others – and give them attention that they might not otherwise get. Onto another month of reading!
