Non-Australian authors read

A tan square with rows of books at the top and bottom. A dark tan square has black text that reads Books by Non-Australian authors.

Because my focus is on Australian books, reading books by authors outside of Australia has often consisted of those from the UK, the US or translated from European languages. So I only read 33 books by authors outside Australia. This has often happened based on what is available in the Australian market as well. I might want to read something more, but it needs to be available somewhere I can access to get (Not Amazon, as I don’t use them). So each year it can be hit or miss as to what I read, where it comes from, and how much I read of authors not from Australia. It’s also dependent on what I am offered from publishers, and I usually check a plot to see if it is something that sparks my interest, like any book in any round up category.

I write roundups that are broad and focused, and split them into men, women, Australian, non-Australian, children’s, young adult, adult, LGBTQIA, Disabled and co-authored books. There is also a post with everything and a summary at the end. So if people want to look at something in particular, they can.
