During 2024, I read 41 books by men from across the world. As with my other reading, I have done my best to be as diverse as possible with what I read for review and other reading, and I have included anthologies edited by women here because they include essays or stories by men, and therefore, they have a lot of crossover with my roundups.
I did enjoy the children’s books more, and I did try out a hyped book and didn’t see what the hype was about – I felt like I had read better books, and it made me wonder if people saying they like it so much really do, or if they’re saying it to fit in, as I often think about when I read or hear about how many people are gushing about popular books. Some books on this list were more enjoyable than others as well.
