In 2024, one of my final challenges to be completed is the Nerd Daily Challenge. I liked the prompts this year, and managed to fill them all. Some were easier than others, and some like a recommendation from the Nerd Daily wasn’t as easy at first, but I managed to with a book that came at the last minute for something else, and I was able to slot that one in nicely. I was able to use many review books for these prompts, with a few that I didn’t review. In doing it this way, I managed to cover a wide range of reading and genres, which I do try and do in all my reading, but it does vary from year to year, and what is on offer for review.
It will be interesting to see what prompts are available next year.

Nice job!! I do this one, too, and next year I really need to do better at matching what I’m read to the prompts when I’m picking them, lol! I probably won’t complete mine, but I’m gonna be close.

Thank you – I choose my challenges based on how broad the prompts are, so I can use the wriggle room to use whatever books I buy, get for review, or that I am sent for other things. It takes a bit of the stress off if I can do that, because then I’m more likely to find books in my collection or the bookstore, rather than having to scrabble around for something obscure that I might not track down in time.

Oh I try to do the same, but some of the prompts just never fit with what I read! Like the silver on the cover one – just didn’t come up ever!

Oh no! I can get creative, so if the title has silver in it, say, then I use that!
