Disney Reading Challenge 2026 Magical Objects Completed

Disney Reading Challenge A peach, pink and pale-yellow watercolour background with books and Mickey Mouse ears around black text that says Disney Reading Challenge 2026. The text is above Mickey and Minnie Mouse reading.

Another card for the Disney Reading Challenge 2026 completed and marked off. This time I am marking off Magical Objects. Here, I reviewed three of the four books I used and those three were all Australian authors. I have been making my way through this challenge, filling in prompts as I go, and don’t have that many left. Some of them are going to be easy to fill, whilst others won’t be as easy, but I will do my best to complete them all.

Magical Objects:

Enchanted Rose (a short book you can read quickly):Ludicrous Legends: Myths with a Twist by Jol Temple, illustrated by David Conley

Sword in the Stone (a book about an ordinary person doing something extraordinary): Kate Forsyth’s Long-lost Fairy Tales: 21 Forgotten Fairytales Retold by Kate Forsyth, illustrated by Lorena Carrington

Fairy Godmother’s Wand (a book with magic or spells): Somewhere by Shelby Matheson

Poisoned Apple (a book from your TBR with the lowest average rating): Adventures in Wonderland: An Introduction to the History and Theory of Children’s Literature by Michael Rosen
