Dymocks Reading Challenge: Christmas Leftovers

A green background with a cream tasting menu that has red and green text on it.

Christmas Leftovers

Just when we thought it was over in October, Dymocks surprised us with four more prompts for November and December to wrap up the year. I had to be sneaky though, and use a previously read book for the Book of the Year prompt as I was running out of time, and the other books didn’t hold my interest when looking at them. And the festive prompt has two options, as I didn’t know if I’d finish the novel in time. So that concludes the Dymocks 2024 reading challenge. So, now I am looking forward to seeing what they come up with next year.

Wrapped in a bow (Read a book you received as a gift): The Mystery Writer by Sulari Gentill

Festive Cheer (A festive themed story to bring joy to your holiday season): ‘God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen’ in The Swordmaster’s Secret by Narrelle M Harris, Hogfather by Terry Pratchett

Dymocks Book of the Year: What Happened to Nina by Dervla McTiernan

Food Coma (Free choice):  The Strange Sighting: An Alice England Mystery by Ash Harrier
