June 2024 Reading Round Up

A beige square with 17colourful book covers in a range of genres and audience groups. It has black text in the middle that says June Reading Round Up.

During June I read 17 books and made headway on all of my challenges – with only one or two prompts for each to go. I also completed Mains challenge prompts for the Dymocks Mains Prompts and prepared for a few blog tours. Most books were Australian, and I reviewed most of them as well – some reviews are for later dates in the year, but getting on top of my reviews has been a goal for the year so I don’t fall too far behind. I have also been trying to get through my other reading, which I am managing to do.

  1. Finding Bear by Hannah Gold
  2. Stars in their Eyes by Jessica Walton and Aśka
  3. When the Lights Went Out by Lian Tanner and Jonathon Bentley
  4. Red Day by Sandy Fussell
  5. Unreal: Can You Tell Fact from Fake by Kate Simpson and Leila Rudge
  6. Friday Barnes: Collision Course by R.A. Spratt
  7. The Raven’s Eye Runaways by Claire Mabey
  8. Esme in the Limelight by Kate Gordon
  9. Riley’s Foolproof Guide to…Breaking a School Record by Dani Vee and Jules Faber (illustrator)
  10. The Helios Book by Slade Carter
  11. Beastly Beauty by Jennifer Donnelly
  12. A Way Home by Emily Brewin
  13. Happy Millionth Birthday by R.W.R McDonald and Alexandra Colombo
  14. Courage be My Friend by Jenny Davis OAM
  15. Something Special by Emily Rodda
  16. Marion and the Forty Thieves by Sarah Luke
  17. Like a Curse by Elle McNicoll

I am still working on my other reading challenges, and I am hoping to have everything ticked off by the end of the year.
