The April prompts for this year’s Dymocks reading challenge have just been released. The theme for April is Match Your Taste, which means you can take a chance and taste-test something you might not normally read, or you might find something you normally do read for the prompts. I should for at least two, and for the staff recommendation, I might be relying on the Top 101 or Kids Top 51 lists, or Instagram as I no longer have a Dymocks I can just pop into whilst doing other stuff in my local area.
I already read a wide array of genres, with a few exceptions that I have tried and didn’t enjoy at all in the past. And most of the books I read are by Australian authors, so home grown isn’t going to be very hard to fill. What will be hard will be choosing which Aussie author to use!
This month, the cards will be found in the Instagram broadcast channel, and according to their Instagram post, there will be cards to get instore this month.
