The Readings Young Adult Prize 2024 shortlist

The Readings Young Adult Prize shortlist was also announced this week for 2024, which is presented for the best new contribution to Australian young adult literature from an emerging author.

This year, the shortlisted books are:

A Way Home by Emily Brewin

Blind Spot by Robyn Dennison

Birdy by Sharon Kernot

The Spider and Her Demons by Sydney Khoo

We Didn’t Think It Through by Gary Lonesborough

A Curse of Salt by Sarah Street
