One final challenge I am doing this year is the QBD Reading Challenge. I enjoy this one because it has a mix of specific and open categories, so it is fairly easy to complete. Even the categories that might seem specific are open to interpretation, and for some of them, I have already used what I have read and what I am reading. Others I have an idea of what might work, and some I still have to look for – but like with all my challenges, I will fill in or tick off the ones that I have books for in my room, or through my reviewing piles and think about the others, or see if they fit into something – I’ve often found interpreting some challenge topics in a way that works for me – whether it’s genre, what I like or what I have access to – has been the best way to approach these challenges as it is less stressful. Some topics like ‘a thick book’ I have many options for, whilst there might be others that I need to think about more, like a funny memoir. Anyway, here’s what I’m doing, and I’ll be posting updates whenever I can – hopefully at least once a month.
