One of the challenges I am going to be embarking on in 2026 is the Disney Reading Challenge, which I found on Instagram and is run by @readingforthethrill, @mandy_w87, and @hayleyqreads.It looks to be an interesting challenge, and one that I am sure I will be able to complete.
This challenge has 40 prompts across ten Disney categories, plus 4 bonus prompts with their own category, which are:
• 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴
• 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘦𝘴
• 𝘍𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘍𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴
• 𝘚𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘬𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘴
• 𝘗𝘪𝘹𝘢𝘳 𝘗𝘢𝘭𝘴
• 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴
• 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘖𝘣𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘴
• 𝘝𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴
• 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘪𝘹
• 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘚𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘴
And the bonus category is Disney Babies. Like most challenges, it will run from the 1st of January to the 31st of December 2026, and can be completed in any order. I will be trying to use one different book per prompt as well. I will be aiming to fill these prompts with books I already have and books that come through for review, as I do with all my challenges each year. I found the templates on the hosts’ Instagram pages.
