Amy at Lost in a Good Book is hosting the #AussieYAChallenge again in 2026 to read more Australian Young Adult books throughout the year. You can find the challenge page at Storygraph again here and here, with prompts to encourage you to read diversely. This year’s prompts are:

I always enjoy this challenge, because I love Australian young adult and do get a lot for it as a reviewer, so I should be able to not only complete the base level I choose, but add to it during the year.  I’m looking forward to giving this another go this year, and hoping to read some good Aussie YA again in 2026.

I always go for the Nix level but then also have my own challenge of about 40, and go from there. Amy has some good tips to succeed as well:
