Dymocks Reading Challenge

Open red book with a white D. Dymocks logo.

In 2026, instead of releasing their prompts seasonally or yearly, Dymocks is using their Instagram channel to release a few prompts at a time. To participate this year, you have to be on Instagram and part of their channel to get these prompts. Only getting a few prompts at a time might be a tad annoying, but at the same time, I can probably just fill them in when I come to a book that uses them. It Is much better getting them seasonally or in a yearly list via the website, as it means only people on their channel could participate.

  1. Wait, where did 2025 go? (a book you didn’t get to last year):
  2. Sun-soaked Stories (embrace the lazy days, possibility and romance of summer):
  3. New Year, New Me (step outside your comfort zone):

So far, they have only released three prompts, so I will have to keep checking back to see what else they are going to release throughout the year. Because of this, I’ll be tackling it differently to how I usually might and putting books into the prompts when they come up, even if I have already read them. I often have crossover with challenges and this way, it allows me to fill things in as I go and am able to.
